Site #31 is right next to the bathroom. Some may find it convenient, but we did not enjoy the smell or steady stream of foot traffic. Nice large site. One of the few that can accommodate a big rig.

We really liked this camping, but we experienced some issues, which added the sadness to our short time off. In first, we lost more than an hour just because the host, as he said, didn't receive in time an information about our reservation, and he sold our site to somebody else. We had to wait until the host found a new place for that family. Then they had to pack everything and move. Also, I was wearing the mask every time when contacted the host, but he didn't wear it at all, and the distance between us was much less than 6 feet, probably 2-3 feet only. Finally, I was surprised with the way the host conducted himself. He was yelling very loud on our friends - tenants across the street. I think that even if they did something that he didn't agree with, he should not have been rude and erase his voice as much as he did.

Great campground! Very clean. All sites are flat, spacious and shaded. Great fire/grill pits. Very close to a lot of activities. The Lake is beautiful! We saw two moose - huge male and female.

Campground was great, shaded and surrounded by trees. Some campsites were pretty close but luckily everyone was quiet and respectful. If you get a site on the outside of the loop, you can pitch your tent pretty far back to get some privacy and be away from everyone. Very close to walking trail, and lake Jefferson up the road is breathtaking. Site 27 has an awesome area further back to pitch your tent away from everyone. Sites like 28 and 30 are flatter and wider, better for the big family tents to pitch right by the fire ring area. Can’t comment on the camp host as we never saw them and the reserved signs were never even updated, luckily no one took our reserved spot though. We’ll definitely be back.
