The campsite was roomy and beautiful and the camp hosts were super helpful and friendly. The campgrounds were very clean including the bathrooms! Overall excellent camping experience!

Beautiful area in general and we love camping in the pine forest. Host was very friendly. Campground was quiet except for the day we arrived when the site next to us ran a very loud generator for 3 straight hours. I know they are allowed, but we don't like the peace and quiet disturbed.

From US Highway 285 at Jefferson, take County Road 35 north to County Road 37 and turn right. Pay the user fee at Jefferson Lake Recreation Area entrance station and continue on the road to the campground.

Lodgepole is accessible via US Highway 285, located approximately 10 miles to the south. From US Highway 285, take County Road 35 north to reach the campground.
