The site turned out really nice. The near by road was not a problem. Facilities were clean. The river was across the road. We saw multiple deer.

There is a lot of traffic in this area, but that is to be expected and evident in other reviews. But the campground is LOVELY. The South Platte is just beautiful, the overlook hike nearby is fantastic for kids, and the campsite was clean and tidy. We loved our stay and will be back again!

From Lake George, turn off Highway 24 onto County Road 96. Follow the road for about one mile. Turn right at Eleven Mile Canyon entrance. Riverside Campground is located on the left side, not far from Eleven Mile Canyon entrance.
