Camp host were the best!! River was pretty and the views were gorgeous. No luck on trout fishing though:(.

Excellent Camp Host in 2022 at Eleven Mile Campground. Hiking, fires pits and lots of running around space for those active kids. At this campground there are several walk in tent camp sites North and South in the valley on both ends of the camp ground, it would be helpful to bring a wagon.
Several of the sites are more for RVs like #10. The river is beautiful, not many fish across from the campground, but you can drive further up to much more glorious fishing in the Gold Waters of Eleven Mile . July the river is good for children to tube on the side of the river near the road.

From Lake George, turn off Highway 24 onto County Road 96. Follow the road for about one mile. Turn right at Eleven Mile Canyon entrance. Riverside Campground is located on the left side, not far from Eleven Mile Canyon entrance.
Riverside Campground is located approximately 12 miles from US Highway 24, which provides access to the area.
