Best campsite is #24! Surrounded by trees and bushes, private. You can hear the river.
Only thing is that the site had not been cleaned when I got there. The fire ring was still full of ash piled and old, half burned wood. Few cigarette butts. It's a little close to the bathroom which is good if you need to make a late night run.

Beautiful canyon, it was quite windy but canyons can be like that. Lots of fish but hard to catch!

The site was very well set up and clean. The camp hosts were super friendly and helpful. Rain, wind, and mountain storms happen often in the canyon, so prepare for that! Make sure to keep food in secure containers (a lot of chipmunks around haha) Spillway has a great overlook hiking trail that starts right in the campground (its a must do! Beautiful views of the canyon and 11 mile reservoir) I would highly recommend staying at this campground if you are looking for a fun weekend of fishing!

Beautiful campsite next to the river and just below the dam. Plenty of shade. Some of the sites are small but a few have plenty of space from other campsites. The only complaint we have is the long and sometimes very narrow road up the canyon to the campgrounds. Also the road is extremely dusty and required a thorough cleaning of our class C motor home when we got home. We will go back but stay at one of the campgrounds further down the canyon. BTW, the fishing was very good.
