The site was very spacious and clean. Rick the camp host was very nice and he kept the vault bathrooms very clean. Beautiful area with lots of trees. The only weird thing was the fire pit was very close to the picnic table and only 2 camp chairs fit around it. But other then that really nice spot.

I loved this campsite. Gorgeous views, easy to find, quiet overall but if people are partying nearby like they were our first night, you can hear them very well. There really isn’t a space for your tent so you have to make do. We angled the cars so our tent could fit in the “driveway” and it worked out. And right next to the bathrooms!

Beautiful part of Colorado!!! The campground is ok... We stayed in site 7 in loop D. It is a terrible uphill back in. It said it would fit our 30' 5th wheel but we BARELY fit and I was backed in as far back as I could. The BBQ grill was entirely too close to the fire pit. It was by no means a perfect site, but we still enjoyed our camping weekend.

The views from this campground are stunning. Easy access to the lakes on Mt. Elbert and the trails. Very clean vault toilets and campground. We will come back next summer.

we have been going to Lakeview now for 5 years now. every year the water is not working. now the rates keep going up and still no water.
Having a campfire is camping. we have to load our own water, or bring from lake to make sure everyone is responsible to put out fires. I believe for $30 a night the campsite should supply water.
inexcusable for the cost of a site without water.
