Lakeview Campground

I like this camping area we go here every year.

Very nice sites. Hosts were friendly and had the cleanest vaults we have ever scene or smelled.

The site and facilities were clean and well cared for. The campground host was great. There was no water, which I was aware of. Some issue between the FS and State administrators.

There is absolutely no water at this campground. This is unacceptable. You have to drive for miles and miles to buy water. Buena Vista has locked all their water spigots in the entire town also. If you don't want anyone to camp here, close the campground. We will never return.

Our hosts were welcoming and cheerful. The campground and bathrooms were spotless!

Lakeview campground has become an annual trip for us to spend the 4th of July in the most beautiful place in Colorado. It makes it even better with great hosts and great fishing.

Really nice campground. Great location & views - super close to twin lakes. Toilets were single-stall vault toilets but very clean. Hosts very helpful.

We love this campground. We have always stayed in A3 (for the past 3 years) and it is such a nice large space with good tree coverage. There is a bit of road noise as it is at the entrance to the campground and there are further activities up the road from here, but we are somewhat oblivious to it and it's not too bothersome for us. Since it's a pretty good sized campground, there is a lot of paved roadway for walking. The fishing at Twin Lakes and on the lake up from the campground provide opportunities for some nice trout. The camp hosts have been there for 2 years (maybe more) and are so nice and helpful. They keep everything clean and tidy. Great place to stay and would highly recommend this site. We will be back.
