Great camping area. Fished like crazy and caught a bunch, put them back to get bigger. Thankful that we went earlier than our normal Fathers Day weekend- I couldn’t have stayed with the fires due to my lung cancer. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful.

I loved our campsite. Only thing was the spot for a tent was on an incline. But the host was great, view was spectacular and it was so peaceful. Love this campground!

There is basically no flat space in this whole campground. Arrived to find that the only semi-flat spot for a (small, 2 person backpacking) tent in site F002 was way at the back of the site practically next to the fire ring of the site behind it, and even that was still roll-off-your-sleeping-pad-all-night territory. Drove around to see if I could find a better open site, but most of the others were exactly the same. I ended up setting up my tent in the gravel driveway directly in front of my car, and saw multiple others that had done the same. This would've been fine if I'd expected it, or if the sites were free/cheap, but these sites are expensive for having no water AND no good place to sleep.

Ideal location for people the seek quietness and wildnesses. No running water so just be prepared. Amazing host, Rick goes above and beyond for his guests

Such a nice campground with an absolutely beautiful view! We stayed at site E011 and had the best view in the campground in my opinion. Camp host was very kind and gave us a free parking pass for the lakes. Twin Lakes general store has firewood/ice/snacks and anything else you might need for your stay. Only downside was that you can hear the traffic from the road since it's not too far below the campground.

Too bad they still don't have water there at the camp site. Years ago when I was there it had water. We went over independence pass which was lots of fun. Need to see the cops out in Twin Lakes to catch speeders. They are lots of fun to look at.
