Loved the campground and the area! Super close to the south Mt. Elbert trailhead which was also very convenient

Pros:
- CO trail runs through camp - easy access to the lake or the mountains without driving anywhere.
- Pit toilets are cleaned and stocked regularly.
- Convenient drinking water access.
- Leadville is within easy driving distance for supplies.

- No showers.

I have been camping all around Colorado and this campground was one of the most beautiful I have been. The view is breathtaking and I will definitely be back.

Highway 82 and travel 4 miles to Lake County Road 24. Turn right on Lake
