What Guests Are Saying
Molly Brown Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful views, spacious and well-maintained sites, and easy access to Turquoise Lake, making it a favorite for many campers. The hosts are attentive, keeping the facilities clean and providing helpful recommendations for local activities. However, the lack of potable water and occasional issues with restroom cleanliness have been noted by some visitors, but overall, the campground is highly recommended for its serene environment and outdoor opportunities.

So the entire Turquoise Lake area has no potable water. Each host has a cistern with water for jugs, but must fill camper in Leadville at Water District office. Dump station all closed. Lots of trees have come down due to, what looks like, high winds.

Absolutely beautiful place! Flat site with much space from neighbors. Friendly camp hosts. Clean bathrooms. Wonderful single track dirt bike trails. Great paddle boarding. And lucked out with weather.

Lake views are spectacular, morning and evening walks are a must! Went into Leadville to visit The National Mining Museum....a "must do" to really understand what mining in Colorado is all about! They had 2 stories of wonderful exhibits and interactive exhibits.

The campground was nice in general, lake was beatuful. Never saw the camp host. Bathroom were not cleaned very well. Our camp site had a little trash in it when we pulled. There were are a lot of downed tree that has been cut but the cutting were just left in place, not piled or picked up. There was a lot of digging / grading / etc that had been done recently make the roads though the campground very muddy (I was rainy during our stay). This was a clay type of mud so it tracked everywhere.
