Beautiful. I am a 72 year Colorado native and my time at this camp was one of my favorite experiences. I have camped all over the State and I feel this is in the top three and possibly the top one. Would like to come back every year as long as I am physically able. Thank you for making this such a beautiful camp ground.

Beautiful campground at the foot of Mt. Elbert. Large trees, well shaded, clean "pit" toilets maintained daily. Water source was trucked in, but good quality and abundant quantity. Directly adjacent to the Twin Lakes, some sites with great lake views.

A perfect campsite. We stayed at site sage 007, which was situated under beautiful pines and a close walk away from the lake. No complaints about the site - Good sized, clean restrooms, friendly camp hosts. It was oddly not busy, so we enjoyed the quiet night and being spaced far from other campers. Definitely support this campsite! Would definitely return when back in the area!

Great campsite and even better location. The views from the outer loop of the sage loop, facing the lake and mountains was spectacular. The latrines and campsite was very clean. Only drawback was it's distance to the main thoroughfare and you could hear passing trucks throughout the night (earplugs stopped that mess the second night). The lake is clean, albeit cold (obviously) and there were very few folks out (we were there Sun-Tue). Definitely on the list of places to return.

We had the most wonderful walk in tent camping site. It sat very far from the road within the campground so it was very quiet. The tent pad was well done and easy to put up our tent on. We were surrounded by trees and even visited by a hummingbird one morning.
