Very private site totally surrounded by trees. Fit our 28” 5th wheel like a glove. Could accommodate a little larger rig if necessary. The site it up the hill from the road and although you cannot see it you do hear road traffic in the morning if you lay in bed too long! Overall a beautiful place
Since we have an RV we didn’t use the toilet but I tried to go in on our way out after hooking up and was met with way too many flies and decided to “hold it”

The restrooms were horrendous! The vaults were close to being full, they smelled of chemicals and feces, bugs were everywhere and they weren’t well cleaned!!! There was constant terrible vehicle pollution from Hwy 65. A pipe had broken so there wasn’t any potable water. It wasn’t ANYTHING like I had hoped it would be!!!
The campsites were clean and raked nicely when we arrived. The lakes behind the campground had fish literally jumping out of the water and were easy to catch! The mesquites are prevalent but that is to be expected on the Mesa so a mesh tent over your dining area is recommended!
I have been to some wonderful campgrounds at Recreation.gov. But this WASN’T one of them!!!!!

We have been going to Jumbo Campground for over 40 years, and it's always been a fantastic experience! It's always clean, fully stocked bathrooms, and the campground staff are friendly and helpful!

The campsites are spacious and have plenty of shade. However, the bugs (mosquitoes, spiders, gnats) were horrific. Bug spray didn't really help. Toilets stunk!! I watched most people who went in come out retching. I was actually happy to leave.
