This campground features many sites with electricity, a full-time host and paved driveways. Plus, it's in the beautiful Mesa Lakes complex and Recreation Area, an easy 30 minute drive from Palisade.

The location was beautiful. The sites were large and in the trees. There was easy access to trails and lakes. The toilets were very clean and well lit. Loved the electric hookup in a National Forest

Hosts, Ken and Kim were very helpful. But facilities are old and in poor condition. Odor in toilets was terrible, but interior was clean. Water faucets need replacement as only one location was able to have a hose attached in order to fill my fresh water tank. I’ve been in this campground almost every year for the past 20 years. The sites are great and free of debris and fire pits are clean.

We can highly recommend Jumbo Campground & the Grand Mesa for your next camping destination. Kim & Ken are friendly, knowledgeable & helpful camp hosts who exceeded our expectations. Hiking, biking, fishing, wildlife viewing, Can’t say enough about this beautiful area.

Great Campground!! Clean, mostly private sights. We love this area! Great hikes right from the campground. The only downfall is the vault toilets. The smell is a bit overwhelming. They need to be pumped out really bad!!
