We spent one night in the main campground, followed by three nights in the group campground with our annual motorhome group's annual rally. We have been holding this rally at Camp Hale for the past five years. The campground host, Tracie, was without a doubt the friendliest, most efficient, and best overall campground host I've ever known in all my years of motorhome camping, not just at Camp Hale.

We had a wonderful time and a great campsite. Teri, the camp host was friendly, very conscientious about the bathrooms, and helped people find the local wildlife. 🙂

Lovely campground. Lots of interesting history. A hike east on the Colorado Trail lead us to a waterfall lunch break.

Campground was beautiful and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Camp host was accommodating and helpful. My family is used to dispersed camping so it took some adjustment hearing generators run 24/7, might be nice to have a timeframe in which they can be used/not used. Other than that we highly recommend it.

We hit this campground at peak aspen viewing time. Since it was midweek, it was quiet and uncrowned. The camp hosts were wonderful...friendly and accommodating! The entire area is very interesting with its history of the 10th Mountain Division. We definitely hope to return to this lovely campground.

Bear boxes were convenient since we saw several bear scat piles with 50 feet of the campsite. Privey was top notch clean! Excellent campground.
