Sunsets were amazing and so was the stargazing!! Bathrooms were clean. Location was great with lots of things to explore. Highly recommend a day adventure to The Great Sanddunes Park and the Great Sanddunes Reacreational Center!

Beautiful views at site 21, leave it better than you found it please.
The road is paved all the way to the campground.

Site 20 is basically a pullout on the road and the fire pit/picnic table is a steep incline. Not ideal for camping with young kids.

Great campground. Sites were convenient and well shaded. Neat little campground store. Bathrooms were real plumbing and nice and clean. Great place to explore the dunes from.

Bring fly netting in June to screen in an area. The falls are great, the spots were clean, the sunsets were worth it.

The location was great. The campsites were clean. The views were stunning. However, there were a lot of gnats or something like them that made enjoying the outdoors a bit more difficult.

I was lucky and was in the new loop. It was nice and level and right next to the very clean pit toilet. Great views, but some sites had stunning views. Not this one. The waterfall was amazing! An easy and close hike from this site, make sure to wear water shoes, you will be hiking through cold water. The sand dunes were humongous and another fun walk. There was another hike across the street from the main sand dunes entrance that was nice. I took my dog for a walk on it, a short loop. I left a day early because the no see ums were horrendous and I could not just sit outside and enjoy the site unfortunately.
