Beautiful canyon and great scenic drive with numerous accessible stops. Definitely a great park to visit as part of a larger trip, but there is not much variety in scenery in my opinion. I would do 1-2 days here but prioritize some bigger parks in Colorado for more variety. Camping was ok at South Rim but there is only drinking water, no tap for dishes/brushing teeth and no flushing toilets. We would have liked more shade on our campsite but the site of the site was good and bear boxes are at every site. Overall probably would not visit again (we felt that one time was enough) but is definitely a cool stop to make while driving through Colorado if you've never visited!

Please trim the trees, especially directly over the fire pits and the grasses around the campsites. I understand deer and grouse come around to eat, however grasses are too tall.

30$ a car to get into a National Park is too much. We had two cars in our campsite and that was $60. I thought Nat Parks were for all Americans, not just the rich.

Really enjoyed driving the rim road and stopping at the different viewpoints to look down into the canyon

Stayed in Loop B with an electric hookup. About half of the sites in B are side-of-the-road pull-off sites, the picnic table and firepit are located behind the pull-off, so if your rig is parked parallel to the road, you'll have privacy. Campsites are separated by low brush and scrub oaks.
There are water spigots at the entry to each Loop. No RV fill allowed. Zero internet with Verizon.
This was a nice campground in a good location. Ranger presentations at the ampitheater (walking distance) each night.
The Black Canyon is amazing. The scenic drive has many overlook pull-offs with views into the canyon gorge. Nice Visitors Center.

Our spot in the campground was just as described. The bathroom was easily accessibly. Even with a full campground, the noise levels were not bad at all. Side note: If/when you drive down into the canyon, be sure your vehicle is locked in a low gear. I ignored the sign and aaaaaalmost overheated my brakes on the 6 miles of continuous 16% downhilll grade. :) The sign is there. DO IT. :)
