Nice spot. Had deer wonder through or spot in the afternoon and during morning coffee. Black Canyon is overlooked but the overlooks are spectacular.

Great campground! We liked having the trees between the campsite and the parking/road at C-10. It felt smaller than we expected based on photos. Short walk to the pit toilets.

The campsites were spacious and offered excellent privacy. No real views from the sites near us, but the park is right there and views are easily accessible.

Great sites close to visitor center but yet just far enough away for an excellent trail option as well!

An exceptional and ideal place to explore this wonderful park. We loved our two-night stay, both during the day and at night. Watching the milky way was truly magical :)

What a wonderful place to camp! The vault toilets were well maintained, and the view of the sky was fantastic. (We got up in the middle of the night to check out the Milky Way.) Fair warning—we tent camped over Memorial Day weekend; highs were near 80 but it dropped into the 40s at night. We ended up buying hoodies to sleep in (inside our sleeping bags) during our trip over to Ouray.
If you’re driving over to Ouray, Eatery 66 in Ridgway is a great local joint! The food is good and prices aren’t terrible, especially for vacation towns.

I loved my first visit to the park. However B18 site has an extreme slant to the site. Be very careful in how your park your rig!
