Great spot, quiet even though it backs to the road. Deer in the morning on the path through the campsite and lots of birds. South Rim visitor center is educational and has a great gift shop and the rangers there are friendly and super informative. The ranger led talks were interesting and the right length for kids. Lori (a Ranger) was wonderful and gave us the perfect hike recommendation. An excellent national park experience.

Campsites are tight so you need to review the length restrictions carefully. Bathrooms were clean and campsite was well maintained. Campground lay-out afforded privacy between campsites.

So fun, make sure to bring extra water on hikes because those inclines were no joke! But they were so worth it!

Such a beautiful national park. Highly recommend a visit! This is definitely a primitive campground compared to others we visited on our trip (Capitol Reef, Arches, Great Sand Dunes). It wasn't obvious to us until day two at the park that there was water available at the entrance to the campground. Of course, we had brought water with us but it would have been nice to know there was some potable water available.

This site is great! A little close to some of the surrounding campsites, but I love the layout of A7. Had a deer that liked to hang out behind the car parking spot in the bush to eat a snack. We scared each other a couple times but she was curious and never darted off. We probably stood 10 feet apart making eye contact a couple times.

The campground is in a very beautiful area, however the sites are 1, very very close together - moreso than I had experienced in a lifetime of camping and 2, the sites are incredibly small. Some so small you don't actually have an area to setup a tent, let alone anything else.
Very nice location, but definitely for no more than 3-4 people.

This site (C15) would be good for a SMALL TENT (6x6 or smaller) OR VAN ONLY. The only place to put pur tent was against the picnic table and the neighbor site's bear box. The photos shown on the app are NOT of this site, they are for the neighboring site. Having said that, the campground was clean and beautiful. Really easy access to hiking trails that lead to the visitor center and beyond
