Beautiful campground! The camp hosts were super nice and were following all guidance and cleaning for COVID. The weather was a bit rough (expected for being pretty high & that early in the season) but the location was great for visiting Telluride. Beautiful!

This is a great campground for tent or trailer camping. We brought a tent and picked Site 25. Would not recommend that site for a tent -- there is very little shade and no tent pad. The walk-in sites are ideal for tents and have great mountain views. Other good tent sites would be 16-19. Toilets were all clean. Camp has flush toilets and a pit toilet closer to the walk-in sites. Hot water and showers also available. Great location for hiking (the Galloping Goose trail can be accessed from the campground, or for a flatter walk, there is a gravel road right up that same path that has a couple nice views). Camp hosts were also very friendly.

The campsite hosts were great! They were helpful getting us set in and had good recommendations for things to do in town. I would definitely stay there again!

Nice campground in a beautiful location. A bit of a drive to downtown Telluride but if you park at Mountain Center and take the Gondola to town it’s not bad. The gondola is free and convenient. Camp host were great.
