Big Rock campground was great. We had deer graze through out campsite and the sites were far enough apart that we didn’t feel crowded. The latrines were not stinky thanks to some air fresheners someone had placed in them.

No water available with no notice and 15 miles of gravel road to get some, very disappointed!

Arrives at the site that I PAID for, only to find that someone was already set up there and there was no way to contact anyone to help sort it out. I traveled with three small kids and had to park in a parking area with no way to set up our tent or cook them anything because some rude person had decided to take our site

Great place. Lack of potable water not ideal, but workable.

We loved Arapaho Bay. Monarch Lake and Lake Granby can’t be beat. Nice, well-kept campground!

It is a beautiful place to stay. The water is cold but we did swim. We also saw two moose in the morning.
Enjoy

We have camped here for several years. This year the place seamed run down with no water, trash around the camp site, overflowing trash bins, and unfriendly camp hosts.

The Arapaho Bay boat ramp was closed, despite the fact that everyone with camping reservations had received an email the week prior stating that it was definitely open. I called the reservations dept. and they had absolutely no information on it and could not direct me to anyone that did. We had to drive all the way back around to launch the boat which was incredibly frustrating!
