Great stay over memorial day in Roaring Fork loop. Water is way down, so not exactly "waterfront" camping these days. Camp host was very helpful. Confirmed we were who had reserved site, so no concern of someone else taking the reserved spot. Firewood for sale right on location for $7/bundle. Hiking trails right next to the campsites. Great experience. Can't wait to go back.

This is my favorite campsite in the state. Despite not having electric, they’re great sites. The fire ring is always clean, the site is tidy, the lake access is great. The water wasn’t turned on yet this time, and that was a challenge but we were notified before we left, so we were prepared, but it was inconvenient towards the end of the stay.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because there was no lake by my lakeside spot. Water was so low! ☹️

We love this campground! One night there were people up and loud until 3am which was rough. At the same time I appreciate people being able to do what they want so I had mixed feelings about it. I’m pretty sure a bear knocked over the dumpster behind our camper which is nerve wracking and kinda cool.

Although the water level was still very low, it was a pleasant stay over the Memorial Day weekend. The camp site was clean, and people were respectful and friendly to each other.
