Campgrounds were in great shape. Well maintained and clean. It is a quieter campground than Stillwater. Well situated for hiking.

This is the second time I've been to Arapaho Bay at site #7. We love this site because it backs up to a beautiful meadow with mountain views. On this trip, we saw several moose in the meadow. The camp hosts have always been really friendly and available when needed, but not bothersome. I do recommend citronella candles or bug spray in the summer.

I highly recommend going up to Monarch Lake for a hike. There are miles and miles of trails that are stunning!

Great area, perfect campsite for us. Flat ground for the tent and some trees to hang a hammock.

The campground area was clean, spacious and quiet. We stayed at the Big Rock area, closest to Monarch Lake. Other campgrounds are located around the Arapahoe Bay area and some sites are right near the water. We will definitely return and try some different areas to camp. The area is very scenic and surrounded by mountains and is a 25 minute drive to Granby which has restaurants and groceries.

The campground host at Big Rock Campground provide a less than desirable experience and soured our taste for the area. The natural beauty and great views of the lake were tainted with her constant generator use and her poor attitude when we asked to change our campsite. Campground was good, host was terrible.
