What Guests Are Saying

Camp Dick is praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful, well-spaced campsites. Visitors enjoyed the excellent hiking and fishing opportunities, with sightings of wildlife like moose enhancing the experience. However, some noted issues with rough access roads, noise from ATVs, and inconsistent water availability, which could detract from the overall enjoyment.

This is a beautiful campground, very well-maintained in a quiet forested area with the beautiful babbling St Vrain River along the grounds. Most sites have shade and are roomy. Sit by the river for a picnic or hike along the trail that follows the river. You’ll see moose and other wildlife. It’s also reasonably close to several local towns for supplies, food or restaurants. I live nearby and have been coming here since 1998. Always a nice, relaxed time in nature, away from the internet, phones and crowds. Great skies and stars. 5+ stars for sure.

Site #33. Great site. Really liked the campground. Easy access to trails. The people across from me didn't lock their car and a bear got in it so keep those aromatic items locked up. There will be bears.
