What Guests Are Saying

Camp Dick is praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful, well-spaced campsites. Visitors enjoyed the excellent hiking and fishing opportunities, with sightings of wildlife like moose enhancing the experience. However, some noted issues with rough access roads, noise from ATVs, and inconsistent water availability, which could detract from the overall enjoyment.

Love Camp Dick, so pretty there with plenty of room between campsite. Even had 3 visitors, 2 moose and an elk, visit one evening. Love to hear the spring running and exploring the hiking trails!!

We had a very peaceful, relaxing few days at Camp Dick! We have been camping there for decades and it rarely disappoints. We like the quiet loop in the back. We have been in sites that are more exposed to the traffic, which can be annoying since the ATV trail is close and the campground allows ATV's to come through. If I can't find a site in the quiet loop I won't reserve.
The highlight was having 2 juvenile moose come through our campsite and lingered for awhile eating the lush foliage. The camp host was very friendly, did bathroom checks twice a day and even drove in the golf cart with wood for sale if anyone needed some.

There was a rock slide on Hwy 7 that blocked me getting to the camp site.
