What Guests Are Saying

Camp Dick is praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and beautiful, well-spaced campsites. Visitors enjoyed the excellent hiking and fishing opportunities, with sightings of wildlife like moose enhancing the experience. However, some noted issues with rough access roads, noise from ATVs, and inconsistent water availability, which could detract from the overall enjoyment.

This campground is lovely! There's a nice, easy trail that runs right along the campground and through small waterways that lead to the creek. The creek runs through the campground and is soothing at night. Clean and beautiful!

Noticeable sign of Peak to Peak highway leading into Peaceful Valley Campground and Camp Dick. Drive through PVCG on a paved road less than 5 min to get to Camp Dick. At the far West end is a trailhead and off roading trail. We were at #35, the most perfect spot in the whole campground. It’s off a small loop turnabout, easy to back in and plenty of room for our 16ft Cricket camper. Site had a large picnic table, grill, fire ring, clearly marked tent pad with railroad ties containing ‘D’ loop tie downs. Short walk to the vaulted toilets (very clean) trash and water (off in Oct). We hiked around the Canyon and up the Vrain trail. Beautiful tree colors lined the valley along with exposed large boulders. We loved this spot and we’re very lucky to have booked it.

The campsite was very well taken of. I was surprised to find that my spot (site 34) had direct access to a hiking trail, making hiking so much more convenient! The bathrooms are cleaned three times a day, which I was incredibly impressed about!! Overall I will definitely be back and will recommend this campsite to anyone wanting to stay in this forest.

A beautiful spot to camp. Spacious, clean sites and the clearing in the middle is great for seeing the stars at night. Quiet and considerate guests overall with minimal generator noise.
