Wonderful experience. Camp Hosts were excellent. They were especially helpful to our neighbors who discovered they had a dead battery. Josh, Elisha, and Andy helped them diagnose the problem and get a new battery. The same couple had a medical emergency in the middle of the night. Josh and Elisha called for medical assistance and helped with their transportation to and from Ft. Collins. It's good to know that camp hosts are so well prepared and willing to help in extreme situations.

Amazing for families. Everything is very accessible by walking. Bathrooms are clean and the views were stunning. Really enjoyed are time here with kids of different ages!

The mosquitos were swarming us the entire time, no matter how much bug spray we had on or what time of day it was. The flies were biting us as well. On top of that, many of the campsites are not well prepared for rain. Our spot was on higher ground, but the lower spots were completely flooded, with massive pools of water around the tents and tables when it rained. The vault toilet rooms were also not well maintained, with fly strips completely full of bugs and not changed once in the 4 days we were there. The only redeeming thing was being out on the lake, but it took a trek from our campsite to even do that. Very disappointing experience overall.

Beautiful lake and campsite. Don't forget your bug spray though, lots of mosquitos.

I think maybe Chambers has become too popular with some pretty rude campers. Kids and adults cutting through our site to get to toilet and water. Dogs barking and off leash. Four families with a total of 18 people at a double site leaving trash, cleaning themselves and dishes at the water outlet. Really too may people, dogs and vehicles for the camp hosts to keep up with and this was during week days. The toilets were clean and kept in good shape. Will probably find another campground to use.

Many sites here are double sites meaning double the fee regardless of if you actually bring two families or two vehicles. Numerous double sites had just one family. It's a very nice area even with the burn scars nearby; nearly all the trees on the shores surrounding the lake are dead. The campground has nice pine trees for shade at least in July 2022. Campsite 009 is surprisingly close to the main highway sound wise; not close walking wise. Bathrooms were a bit rough smell wise especially in parts of the campground where there were double the people. We did like this campground overall, host was friendly and helpful, altitude is over 9000 ft so it gets up out of the summer heat. This campground is just a bit more expensive for a weekend getaway if all you can get is a double site when you all you need is a single. Kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake is lovely.

closer to the lake and quieter than just across the way, too many loud and disrespectful campers at some sites..

When it rain, there would be 2 to 3 inches of water around my tend. Campsite site was a fish bowl after rain. site 27, never again.

Everything was truly wonderful, but the vault toilets were not kept as clean as I believe they should be.
