Beautiful campground surround by lakes and forest. But the site is in very remote area no cell coverage at all. If you want to make a phone call you need to drive at least 25 miles away to find cell signal. Also there is no dump station so you have to dump your holding tank outside of the site at least 20-30 miles away.

Be sure to get on the lake! We didn’t and wished we have a kayak or canoe. We liked the RV trailer sites away from the lake for more privacy. Chambers Lake offers the outdoors experience we really like, being totally off grid!

Beautiful lake and great campsites. However, site 38 is not nearly big enough for 16 people. Lucky for us, only half of the original party showed up so we had plenty of space.

Our campsite was great but we were disappointed with the hosts this year. In the past the hosts have always been very friendly and monitored the campground on a regular basis. This year we rarely saw a host pass by and when they did they just wizzed by looking straight ahead. No friendly smile or wave. There were 5 vehicles parked in the spot across the road that wasn’t addressed. The bathrooms weren’t nearly as clean as they have been in the past either. We were told that there wouldn’t be water available so we hauled extra containers of water for our fires only to get there and find out the water actually WAS working. Would have been nice to have been notified.
