Chambers Lake

Beautiful campground with tall trees, a beautiful lake. Bring bug spray/netting! A man was killed by a moose 2 mi from the campground, so if hiking, make noise & keep an eye out.

Great site (044) with a great view. Fairly level back in site. Sites are somewhat close, but we never felt encroached on. Hosts were extremely pleasant!

Campground has lots of shady spots. Bathrooms were clean and mostly odor-free (rare!). The nearby hills are still burned from the Cameron Peak fire but some undergrowth is coming back. The immediate area around the campground was unburned and has trees. Nice place to camp.

Beautiful spot with plenty of space up on a hill outlooking the lake. Would recommend.

We just love this camp site. The lake while is about 25 ft below levels on Labor Day weekend, it still allowed for a more mellow tone with less people out on the lake. Josh the host and his wife are great and helped us with a FCFS site. We love the easy access to the water, people are respectful, the camp sites are clean and big enough that you are not too close to the next site. Highly recommended - the only downer is the constant reminder of the fire. The burn scars are vast and deep, but the camp ground and immediate area seem to be saved during that time, so it's still green in that area.

Site 12 was good in the evening, but faces east with no shade so the morning was bright and hot. Make sure to bring shade if you stay there. Also, near dumpsters so lots of flies and the vault toilets smelled rancid and almost made me throw. This was a holiday weekend so they got a lot of use.

beautiful spot would absolutely recommend to any new campers. The lake is stocked with beautiful large rainbow trout, caught two right of the bank near our camp site

Such a pristine camping area! The camping spots were large and well spaced to give you some privacy and the bathrooms were some of the cleanest I have seen in a small campground. The park host was visible and offered wood for those who may have forgotten to bring their own.

Just so pretty!!! The campground is right on the edge of the lake… we got to wake up and see the fog on it every morning and watch the sunset across it. All campsites come with a food locker, picnic table, and fire pit.

The hosts were very nice, and the campgrounds were clean. Many of the tent sites are often swamped with water when it rains.
