The reservation worked out great, they had my name posted on the site. There was wood left there for me (don’t know if that was from the previous campers or the host), great spot for your tent, although if you had more than one tent, you’d be out of luck. There were only a few sites with good views. Close to golden gate though, but those are the only trails around. The hosts did come up and bug me during dinner time with the rules, which I wasn’t in violation of at all (even confirmed that with them, they said they do this to everyone) which I did not appreciate.

We were at site 16 which was about .2 miles from 3 awesome trails that all start at the same spot. We hiked up to the top of our mountain which was about a 200ft elevation gain from the start and had the most breathtaking views. You aren’t too far away from civilization at this site so you still get cell service and can hear city noises, so if you’re wanting to go off the grid that may not be ideal.
