The camp ground is very pretty and clean including the bathrooms. The camp sites toward the back of the camp ground has nice views of the mountains. The host was very helpful on many matters and questions. If you camp close to the camp ground entrance the highway noise is noticeable but minor.

Great site, clean and well kept. The fire pit is in a weird spots that are hard to gather around. Friendly host.

We had a nice time though it did rain most of the time there. Nice little hike to a view point it inside the campsite. Though they have water available I would suggest bring your own if you are coming in some kind of RV/Trailer, etc. The water spigots are not in a friendly location. Every spigot we would be blocking the roadway while filling up our fresh water tank. Luckily there was no one parked next to us while filling up so incoming traffic could pass by.

The hosts are incredible. Site 24 has a lot of room for our truck and 30' trailer. There is plenty of room for the kids to play. Not great for solar with the trees but T-Mobile works very well here. Nederland had a great pizza place call Crosscut Pizza!

Getting There
From Interstate 25 in Denver, go west on 6th Avenue to State Highway 6, through Clear Creek Canyon. Turn onto State Highway 119, heading toward Black Hawk and Central City. Follow the highway approx. 5 mi north of Black Hawk, to the campground.
