Campground experience was great. Restrooms were very clean and well tended to. Other campers were friendly and respectful of quiet hours. The reason for a 4 and not a 5 is because our campsite had not been raked and the fire pit had many ashes still in it. Love Dowdy!

Campsite was clean upon arrival. The bathrooms, though outhouses, were well maintained multiple times a day. Campers are helpful to one another.

Campground host is always nice and polite. Vaulted toilets are always clean. We love this campground! Only bad thing on this trip is someone had to be taken by ambulance at 2:30am and there was alot of noise getting this person to safety. Good to know that if something bad happens emergency services can still get to you. AND my daughter caught her first fish this trip!!!!!!

Great spot! Stayed at camp spot #51, excellent location. Close to the bathrooms, great view of the lake, far enough away from neighbors to feel private. Very clean and quiet. Would definitely go back again.

This is our most favorite Camping place every year we love it. Our Camp Hosts are always so nice and take good care of the bathrooms and campsites.
Hoping someday the Rec Goverment can come up with a better way to reserve sites. Maybe someday they will had some more sites. Some places in Laramie County you can put on an “Alert” where it will tell you there are openings. Maybe it can be adopted at this lake.
