Well kept campground, the camp host was friendly and available. The vault toilets were immaculate! Our favorite place to camp. Sadly, the water level is down several feet. The several inches of snow made for a a beautiful scene!!

Dowdy is beautiful. The spots are spacious and not stacked on top of one another. The only two cons we have are the drinking water and the dump station; There aren’t any!!! You can fill portable jugs but not your RV tank! Very, very problematic if you’re not aware of that fact before arriving. When your trip is through there’s no place to dump! Not in the Park or anywhere reasonably close for public use!

Beautiful, uncrowded setting with lovely views. Toilets were very clean. Enjoyed hiking around the lake (2.5 miles) and other hikes nearby. Will probably bring a canoe or other watercraft next time.
