The campground is located in very beautiful surroundings. Our camp site was freshly racked and the tables were clean and in excellent condition, The bathrooms were immaculate. We wanted to stay an extra night and the hosts were most helpful to make it happen. We will be happy to return

Such a beautiful and well-kept campground! Spot no. 19 was gorgeous with tree cover and beautiful lake views. Fun paddleboarding, too.

Thank you camp host for putting a "Close the door" sign on the bathroom

Had a great time. Everyone was respectful and the host was around many times to tidy the restroom. However, the restroom did smell bad, not as bad as other sites we’ve stayed at in Colorado. The campsite and paths were clean, no rubbish around. Had a great time paddle boarding and enjoyed the oversized site for our family. Have spent our entire lives going to Dowdy and will definitely return!

Camp ground was great - clean. The restrooms were clean and smelled nice. Trash bins were handy. I like the (new to me) anti-bear storage bins where I could put a small BBQ after use. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

The campground is beautiful and clean, our site is very private and quiet, not close to lake but short walk. Hosts are friendly and drive around often. the fishing was good. A deer family of three walked thru our site, beautiful. Will come back, loved it.
