Loved this campground! The lake is beautiful and lots of hiking trails. It's nice to have electric hookup too! The bathrooms in the campground were very clean. We loved Dowdy Lake and will definitely come back next year!

This is such a wonderful campground. Sites are well maintained. This ranks as one of my favorite campground across the USA . Guess I should not say this, it is hard enough to get into as is without more people wanting this great experience.

It is just so hard to get a reservation. I wish that campers were limited to no more than 5 nights in one site so that other's can have a chance to experience camping at the lake.

Beautiful lake. Very nice for kayaking in the morning as the winds pick up in the afternoon. We had a lovely campsite with a view of the lake. Only thing nicer would’ve been a lakeside campsite. One of our favorite spots to go and only a 2 1/2 hour drive from Denver
