Lovely campground. GREAT hosts .quiet pleasant and peaceful Thrilled with no wake lake. Bathrooms very clean. Trail around lake beautiful. Only complaint is too many humans ignoring rule of keep your dogs leashed......do wish people would follow the rules as they are there for a reason.

Always a great place to go - good shade, quite, campsites are spread out, good access to the water, bring your water craft, great hiking, bathrooms always clean. Campground is kept in great condition

Dowdy Lake is definitely one of our favorite places to camp! It is absolutely beautiful and full of walking trails and rock formations to climb on, and they definitely keep the campgrounds/bathrooms clean. Just one suggestion... It would be nice if they would stalk the lake with more fish because fishing can be challenging/or lack thereof at this lake.

Beautiful lakeside RV spot. Electric hookup, great location. Hiking , paddle boarding and watching the eagles. Wonderful spot! The hosts are the best!

Dowdy Lake is definitely one of our favorite places to camp! From Fort Collins, take Highway 287 north for approximately 24 miles to Livermore. Turn west on County Road 74 and continue about 23 miles to Dowdy Lake Road. Turn right, then another right onto Dowdy Drive and continue to the campground.
Dowdy Lake is accessed via Highway 287, which is approximately 24 miles from Fort Collins. From Highway 287, the route continues on County Road 74 for about 23 miles before reaching Dowdy Lake Road.
