The site was wonderful, but the weather was awful. Lots of rain, so there was some flowing water under the picnic table and around the campsite. In good weather, it would have been fine. Between storms we fished & played on the rocks in the Day Use area.

We enjoyed the camping at Dowdy very much and would like to come back. The web site is very hard to find which site are available for 2 RVs (double site). The only way I found was to look at the price for every site and check to see if it was $64.00. It would be nice if this was one of the filters.

Campground and the facilities were in great shape. Though the fishing was a bit slow, the grandkids and us had a great time
