Great location for a week long stay! There were trails within walking distance and some just a short drive away. The highway traffic is insignificant at night so there was no issue with it. There is no signal at the sites but you might find signal at the entrance to the campsite. The mosquitos were abundant so be sure to bring bug spray and patience. We had initially booked a spot without shade but the camp host was kind enough to offer us first pick at another unreserved site of our choosing. The water has a metallic taste and refilling bottles was not the easiest task for us. Bathrooms were pretty clean, free of bugs, and smelled clean enough. There were plenty of businesses nearby for firewood and snacks. I highly recommend the Silver Dollar Lake and Murray Lake Trail that is about a 40 minute drive away.

This was our first site of many, and we got here in the middle of the night. It was absolutely stunning. I think we could see almost every star out there. When we woke up there were elk about 20ft from our tent, and the mountains looked gorgeous in the distance.

We had a great time. The camp host couldn't be nicer and everything was clean and well maintained (including the restrooms). We love this campground and enjoy the more "rustic" experience. Thank you.
