This site (001) is very close to the group campground. Unfortunately there were multiple barking dogs and just generally loud campers at the group site. My crew left early because the noise was irritating and not addressed by staff.

Unfortunately, the weather was extremely hot compared to other years. That is hard to control. We did enjoy much time at the river! Didn't hike as much, but there are some good trails close by. Mt. McConnell is always a challenging, but fun hike.

Our camp site was a great location close to the showers and plenty of privacy.
I did notice a lot of empty sites that said available for 1 night only but weren't used for 3 of the 4 nights we were there. Wasted opportunity. I'm sure there are families that would have used them if they only knew. When you try to reserve online it tells you there is nothing available but that is not true.

Bathrooms kept spotless. Need to do some landscaping work to push some rocks out of the way so you can park a vehicle on the same spot as the camper. Need a little weedeating more regular.

This is the first time since Vista took over the up keep of the campground. What an amazing job they are doing. Bathrooms showers,, and the grounds are kept up. Very friendly staff. This is our favorite place to camp.

This is a great campsite. Quiet, but with the nice sound of the rushing river. Very clean and accommodating. The other campers were great... and even very helpful. We got there after dark, and one of the campers helped us find our site. We'd stay here again, for sure.... and what an amazing drive, getting into the campground. I hadn't bothered to look at any satellite imagery, so the rugged mountain scenery was great. The shower stall could be a little more private, as curious kids could easily peak through the doors... but having a shower to use was very refreshing.
