What Guests Are Saying

Olive Ridge is a beautiful, well-maintained campground known for its clean facilities, friendly hosts, and spacious sites that offer plenty of privacy. Guests appreciate its proximity to hiking areas and the natural spring nearby. However, the lack of potable water and the occasional odor from the vault toilets are common drawbacks mentioned by visitors.

We've always enjoyed camping at Olive Ridge but not having water available is a big drawback.

This was a very nice campsite - would recommend. It was not as secluded as we would have hoped (you can still other campsites from most of the tent pads) but there were enough large trees and boulders around to help maintain a sense of privacy and remind you that you're in the wilderness. Each campsite also comes with a very large bear box, which was helpful. Very easy access to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. If you are heading to RMNP, just make sure to leave early in the morning, otherwise there may be a long line to get through the park entrance.

I can't remember our experience from August of last year. Olive Ridge is our favorite campground, but the new limitations of only four reserved spots per summer and the website recreation.gov changes are terrible.
