My daughter and I had a great time at Pawnee. The campground and facilities were great. The close by hiking is breathtaking.

Great location for viewing some of the best mountain settings in the Rocky Mountains. Very nice jumping off spot to great hiking trails, like the one up to Blue Lake. The trails up are all strenuous, however there are a few shorter trails around the lower lakes and surrounding area that also are nice for getting out in nature.

It was a great experience camping at Pawnee. The grounds were clean and beautiful. There are only two things I'd like to add. The bathroom did smell pretty bad in the mornings. Secondly, and this is probably a good thing, that there was no cell coverage on top of the mountain. I had to go down to Boulder to send/receive texts/calls.

Great campground if you can get a spot! It’s full but that’s expected and Brainard is large enough that it doesn’t feel so busy. Great experience ;)

My overall experience was very good. The campground was nice and accommodated my 38 foot 5th wheel. My only negative was that even though I kept my dog on a leash (which was a retractable lease) I was told that I had to have a leash no longer than 5 feet. This seems a bit too restrictive.

Hands down, the most beautiful campsite we've ever stayed at. Absolutely breathtaking vistas. Dress/pack warm though. We were there July 6th and it was close to freezing at night.
