While the views are incredibly gorgeous, the bathrooms and showers were filthy - worst I’ve ever seen. The last time it was recorded that they were cleaned was mid July. We were there in mid-August. It was pretty disgusting. Our site had trash in it too, which I cleaned up.

Went mid week so there were few people. Camp host was great, plenty of water supply stations, dump station.
Water was perfect for swimming, so calm and clear in the mornings.
Overall very relaxing

Location was great. Disappointed that Camp Hosts don’t clean site between guests. Ours had lots of trash (paper plates, bowls, water bottles, etc). Watched the Camp Hosts drive up to a space, glance at it and drive in. Don’t bother getting out of golf cart to inspect and clean site. First federal or state park I’ve been to like that. Maybe because it’s managed by a concessionaire?

Beautiful campsites set right on lake Granby. Conveniently located close to the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Take a short hike to Adam's Falls out of Grand Lake. Rent a pontoon from Beacon landing MARINA. I could spend my whole summer here... it's so beautiful!

My first time at this campground and found it to be very nice and convenient. The site I choose((A048) had awesome views of the lake and mountains. Closeness to the town of Grand Lake made it convenient and not far from the back entrance to RMNP. Campground itself is nice and clean with ample supply of sources of water. Would take morning walks to walk around in the morning with my coffee and take in the views. Most sites have space in between but did notice some tent only sites were close together. Restrooms were clean and stocked though one restroom didn't have showers that worked. The only downfall was the noise from the road. My site on top of the hill had significant noise but only mostly during the day. I did notice some if not most of the sites had food lockers. I would stay here again but get a site closer to the lake to get away from the road noise.

We attempted to work with Rec.gov on reservation which was futile. Despite what the system was saying the system would not allow us to cancel our reservation. Upon contacting a "live" representative, they also could not get the system to make changes.
All the camp host were awesome. Professional, helpful, etc. Campground is kept in great physical appearance.
It is obvious that illegal immigrants are being passed through the campground. Observed two groups within the stay. The gate needs to be closed at 8 PM as signage states. At least provide some night time security to campers. As illegals will walk right through your camp.
Despite the above will most likely stay at Stillwater one more time before cold weather sets in.

Very nice setting, near the lake. Caveat: the nearby highway can be heard from thrhigher ground sites furthest from the lake.

Overall good campground. Space was perfectly level, views were great. The restrooms were out of soap, sinks not clean and overall were dirty. But they had real toilets with plenty of toilet paper so that was good. It was very quiet despite being relatively near the main highway.

The campground was nice enough. As the pictures show there isn’t a lot of tree coverage so be sure to bring a tent canopy. The bathrooms were not cleaned, including poop remnants that were in the toilet all week. We arrived on Sunday, and the toilets were gross until Friday. If you’re wanting to shower, be sure to bring sandals because the floor is gross. This campsite wasn’t my favorite and we are not planning to go back.
