This is a great site. Close enough to the bathroom/showers and water spicket. The views are amazing, lot's of space with no one really on top of you, lot's of spacing between other sites. Full sun and windy at times - hard to use a shade canopy with wind coming off the lake. Would 100% stay at this site again. Campground hosts were really helpful.

Our family enjoys this convenient campground as we've returned many times over the years. During our stay, we visit NMNP and Grand Lake for pizza and ice cream. Campground has flushable toilets, running water and showers. IMPORTANT: IF THE SHOWERS ARE CLOSED, CHECK THE OTHER SHOWER HOUSE ONSITE. Many people thought the showers were closed for the season but turns out the pipes were leaking in just the one. It was misleading as there was no sign. As a campground attendant was making her rounds, we mentioned the shower situation and she was incredibly rude. She made faces at my husband and totally blew us off when we suggested a sign be posted in the bathroom. Very strange because we've only had friendly interactions in the past. Hopefully she heals and realizes she doesn't need to be so rude.

Nice site, easy to locate. Great access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Restrooms were good, flushing toilets, clean.

Policies & Rules
General
- RV water connections are only available on sites with electric hookups. RV connections are not available at the non-electric sites.
- This is bear country! For bear and human safety, keep a clean campsite and do not place food or other attractants in your tent. For more information about visiting bear country, contact Colorado Parks and Wildlife at http://wildlife.state.co.us
- Boats are subject to inspection to prevent the spread of zebra and quagga mussels.
- Click here to purchase the Arapaho National Recreation Area pass; Interagency America the Beautiful Age and Access passports are valid for admission
- You must stay in the campsite you reserved. Site-swapping is not allowed.
- Amperage is variable with choices of 20, 30, and 50 amps.

- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing organisms by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- All campsites must be occupied within 26 hours of the beginning of the reservation.
- EXTRA VEHICLE FEES: One vehicle is included in your reservation. Any additional vehicles will be charged $8.00 per vehicle per night and will be collected by the camphost. There is not a way to pay for extra vehicles when you make your reservation. One vehicle consists of one camper being towed by vehicle, or any other vehicle towed behind camper. One van or one truck with camper attached counts as one vehicle.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- Tents must fit on pads provided. RVs, trailers or other vehicles must fit on the parking spur. Driving or parking off road is not permitted. Parking can accomodate RVs of many sizes; spurs range from 25 to 40 feet in length.
- Modifications for this campground must be made through Recreation.gov PRIOR to your reservation start date.
