Restroom wasn’t cleaned and it was very yucky. The sinks were clogged with Mosquitoes and other insects. No shower. No hand soap or hand sanitizer. Toilet bowls were horrible and were not cleaned.

Stayed at a site along the lake. It fit our 30ft RV and tow vehicle. We were able to put out our slides on both sides. We group camped with family in two sites. The parking is separated by stairs to the tent/table/fire pit area. The site has no shade and a pop up canopy was needed. I wish there was more room around the fire pit. The picnic table was broken and was fixed within hours of informing the staff. The staff was friendly. The tent pad fit a large tent and has tie downs embedded in the wood wall/border. We used them to for the dog’s leads too. I did find some small trash in fire pit when we arrived and embedded in the grass. The showers were closed and the restroom was clean but older and attracted a lot of mosquitoes and bugs. We were able to get good wifi with our hotspot so a few could work online while the rest played. They have an RV dump and fresh water fill up in addition to several fresh water and dumpsters throughout the campground. We loved having access to the water and had plenty of space for many SUP and kayaks. I am not crazy about the reservation system because a preferred site sat mostly empty because of a no show(I assume). We will be back next year.

Bathrooms had no running water, but I understand it was a horrible fire and things were not good ! Hopefully this campsite can recover, beautiful view and nice place overall.

The location is very nice and fairly convenient to Grand Lake. The spots are level and well-maintained, but the roads are very narrow and the spots relatively close together. Still, our stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed our time there. I had read about criticisms regarding the park ranger, but the fellow I met was very nice and helpful regarding the campground and surrounding areas of interest. He also provided excellent advice on afternoon winds that ended up saving my canopy as I chose to stake it down to prevent any damage to it. This worked out well and I'm glad I was told beforehand as the winds pick up in the afternoon just as he said it would.

Have been coming to Stillwater Campground for 30 plus years. It was nice to see the improvements they made throughout the years. However, over the last few years the management company who runs the campground as well as the National Forest Service has allowed it to deteriorate. The dump station is always questionable if it is operating? The showers have not worked for 2 years and were in a constant state of disrepair before that. The campsites are not kept up the way they used to be. They can't hire or keep campground hosts. Rangers and the Sheriff used to be regularly seen driving through the campground. Hardly ever see them anymore for days. The campground rules, regulations, and guidelines are not enforced or very sporadically because of this. The camping experience can still be enjoyable and is what you make it. It's just a shame the experience is not what it used to be. From the top down they have not kept this campground up. It is poorly managed, maintained, and obviously lacks the qualities that it used to have. Meanwhile we pay more taxes and higher campground fees for less quality and services.

The campsites were WAY TOO CLOSE TOGETHER. Not only were our neighbors sitting on top of us (10-12 people in one site), they were blaring music loud enough for the entire campground well past quiet hours. The pictures of the sites were very misleading. We will not be returning to Stillwater, nor will we be recommending to any of our friends.
