The location is nice because of the easy access off the main road and to the lake which beach area to hang out. The campground is in need of some maintenance. The main issue is the lack of shower facilities. There are 135 sites many of which are dry camping and only one bathroom with 2 showers each. The water pressure is non existent and the water is ice cold. This is my 2nd year staying in Loop A and it was better this year due to one gentleman doing the mowing but there is still a bit of weeds in the sites (tent pad, table area, pathways).

So awesome to be right on the water. Be careful of those afternoon winds!

Your camp host are not very friendly. One lady chased children out of the street screaming at them to stop playing and being so loud and it wasn't even evening time. She yelled at us while we sat at our fire. Need to check your staff and find more friendly people to host.

Awesome campground and location. Some road noise at certain sites.

This used to be a great campground. Not so much anymore. The maintenance of the infrastructure has been neglected for years now. My main complaint is that the supposed "hot showers" are a joke. They haven't been fully functional for several years. Out of the two rest room buildings with showers for the campground, the woman's facilities were down to one "working" stall, with a shower head that was barely functional (3 jets in the showerhead, only one little jet had water flow).
The men's had a total of 2 barely working stalls. In all, the advertised "hot water" can be taken as merely a suggestion, or perhaps a wish.
Considering the premium price for these campsites, the management company could at least provide working facilities.

One of my favorite campgrounds in Colorado. It was very empty compared to previous visits. Weather feels like it is always iffy at night with rain, but we had a great night. Hot showers for free are always a highlight of the stay.

Beautiful campsite, good views of the lake and mountains from our spot. There weren’t many people when we stayed so it was very peaceful.
