The camp site was large, scenic, and felt private from one site to the next. Restrooms were so clean. Trails were awesome. Will definitely go back! Camp hosts had it well taken care of.

Beautiful campsite! The park was busy but very quiet. Both West Lake and Dowdy lakes are perfect for kayaking. Enjoyed every moment...we'll be back.

Our spot was right next to the bathrooms and there's no way to see that on the map when you book. The camp host was unkind - WAY better experience at Dowdy!

Bathrooms were clean, but sites need more attention cleaning tables, raking, cleaning off borders, cleaning out bear boxes, cleaning firepits

Camp hosts friendly, helpful and kept the place very clean. I've been going there for 50 years and I was impressed with how nice of a job they were doing.

We loved our stay at West Lake. It feels so good to be near any body of water in Colorado. We stayed at site 9 and just a heads up — the ground is pretty hard so you might want to bring a malet to stake in your tent or just hope you’re not there on a windy night. The site said it could hold up to 8 people but I don’t think it could comfortably accommodate more than 4 people / 2 cars. Definitely recommend this campground for people who like water activities or are interested in doing a day trip to Wyoming.

love this campground, close to water, a small store for all your needs, always very clean. The area is beautiful, always drive around and see wildlife. It is a challenge to get reservations.

Drinking water is available until Sept. 30 each year. Sewer and water hookups are not available. Come with your RV/trailer water tank filled. Filling at campground hydrants cross-contaminates the system and is not allowed. |

All campsites must be occupied within 26 hours of the beginning of the reservation. If not present the site will be rented by first come first serve basis. |

EXTRA VEHICLE FEES: One vehicle is included in your reservation. Any additional vehicles will be charged $8.00 per vehicle per night and will be collected by the camphost. There is not a way to pay for extra vehicles when you make your reservation. One vehicle consists of one camper being towed by vehicle, or any other vehicle towed behind camper. One van or one truck with camper attached counts as one vehicle. |

Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. |

Tents must fit on the pads provided. RVs, trailers or other vehicles must fit on the parking spur. Driving or parking off road is not permitted. The parking length ranges from 35 to 80 feet. |
