Great spot! Stay on loop 1 for views, loop 2 for more protected sites. Bathrooms were spotless. Fun weekend all around!

Great location….camping spots a little tight even for a small travel trailer. Wonderful park.

It was nice that we were able to move the picnic table otherwise we would have needed to put our tent in an inconvenient location. The space was small but adequate for our four person tent. There were three steps down from the road to the campsite (#83) something I missed if it was evident in the photos of the site. Not a problem for us but something that would be nice to have highlighted. Overall, a very good experience at this campground.

The only complaint regarding my campsite was the levelness of the site for my motorhome. I used all of my leveling blocks and I could not even get close to making my unit level. Everything else was great, even the bathrooms!!!

Loved staying at Piñon Flats Campground. Waking up to the dunes right outside our tent was unreal. The site was clean, peaceful, and just a short walk to Medano Creek. Bathrooms were decent (no showers though), and the stargazing at night was absolutely magical. It got a bit windy and buggy at times, but honestly, it just added to the adventure. Would 100% camp here again.

Sand Dunes are always magical, but this time of year the stream is the best with the water flowing, warm days, and cool nights. This was a great corner spot at Pinon Flats, and was remarkably clean and tidy. We liked that it was close enough to the bathrooms without being right next to it. We came in with extra trash bags to do our part and help out, but they weren't needed. Spaces are close, so you can see and hear other groups, but everyone was respectful and kind. Going to make this a yearly tradition!
