What Guests Are Saying
O'Haver Lake offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with stunning scenery and well-maintained sites, making it a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Camp hosts receive high praise for their friendliness and cleanliness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, issues such as limited water availability, noisy generators, and overcrowding during peak times detract from the experience, suggesting the need for improved management and facilities.

Great site right by the lake and by the stream/creek that feeds it. Only problem was that because of the high water, people/fishermen following the path around the lake wound up having to walk through the campsite. We had lots of foot trafic.

Not a place for peace and quiet. Too many barking Dogs. Four wheelers up and down, through camp ground. Should be a sign warning of cold water. Kids getting hyperthermia after playing in the water.

Beautiful spot. Restrooms were clean, but ran out of toilet paper one day/evening. A travel trailer and 5th wheel were parked in one spot, running their generators constantly--they did shut them off at 10:00. Didn't think that 2 rigs were allowed in one spot. Other than that the campground is great.

Our third year coming and we LOVE it here! Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. Just bring your own firewood. There is no dump station. There are two porta-potty's that are well maintained also. O'haver has plenty of fun for the whole family whether you fish, paddle board, kayak, read a book, or just people watch. If you want a specific spot book 6 months in advance!

Great small campground with peaceful water view and hiking near. Last 3 miles to get the campground is rough with dirt road and small sharp switchbacks especially for larger campers but we’ll worth it!

The camp hosts were excellent! Super friendly!
The 5th wheel next to us decided to run their generator for 5 hours on day, which is the only down fall of the experience.

If reservations are not available, some campsites are first come-first served, also called "Walk-up" sites. First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the SAME NIGHT they are paid for. These sites usually fill Friday evenings and through the weekends. Due to the remote nature of campgrounds, calling to check availability prior to arrival is not possible. |
