Host forced us to give up our site that I had PAID FOR, because the other party wasn’t going to be able to join. They QUICKLY gave my spot, THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR, to someone else in about 10 minutes. These people who took out spot arrived without ANY equipment, which is “required by campground” when you book your reservation. It’s BS. Not happy about that outcome, at all.

This beautiful rustic campground on the shores of Dillon Lake is a terrific base camp for adventures all over the Dillon and Frisco area. We rented bikes from Frisco and pedaled all over. The vault toilets in the campground were kept clean. Sure, we missed a daily shower, but we would definitely come back to this campground again.

Excellent spot, #19. Secluded from other spots. Short walk to the water. Beautiful views and lots of small wildlife all around us. The highway noise was a bit more noticeable at “quiet hours”, but not enough to not fall asleep. Great campsite. Vault restrooms were clean. Only 1 stall available due to “wet paint” and bucket blocking the other stall, so a few times there was some waiting for the restroom.
