What Guests Are Saying
Peak One Campground boasts a fantastic location near trails, towns, and Lake Dillon, making it ideal for outdoor activities. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers good privacy between sites. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities, as vault toilets remain closed and only porta-potties are available, which some guests found less than satisfactory.

Great location. Close to Frisco and Can walk to Lake Dillon.
Sites are spaced out.
Only thing I didn’t like was having to pay for extra car.

This was our first time camping here. The view is amazing and the camp hosts were extremely helpful. Restrooms were clean and had flushing toilets. We'll definite be back!

We are return visitors and spent 8 nights at Peak One. The bathrooms were kept spotless this year and the hosts were extremely personable and friendly. This campground is almost full every night. The sites could use some upgrading: level tent pads, pea gravel over the dust and dirt, showers would be amazing. The views are beautiful and there is easy access to the lake for kayaks, paddle boards And it’s close to everything.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This precents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on a Saturday. |

Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
