The lake is beautiful. Pack plenty of bug spray, ice, firewood, and water. The location is very remote.

Campground and hosts were great. However, the beach area of lake is in real need of sand replenishment. Also, the road to the campground has some awful washout areas that are very rough. There was minimal ATT service. No dump station. Trail around lake was nice.

Great Camp host. Great camping spot in Apalach forest. Trail was very nice around the lake. Good spot for family and kids to explore/swim/fish etc.

The campground is OK but the road to get there is horrible. Dirt road very rutted. Hard to travel with a trailer. There is no dump station and not one even close. The campground is very quiet and has a nice lake. Will not go back.

On our recent 8 night camping loop we found Camel Lake to be the best campsite. The host was excellent in all aspects. Beautiful small lake, well kept bathhouse, and well kept grounds. I would recommend highly!

This small campground was a great get-away...quiet and peaceful. Plus the camp hosts were friendly and responsive to our questions.
