Good other than messy bathrooms. Trash and debris in the showers.

This is a "primitive" very secluded campsite in the Appalachicola Forest. Only about 15 sites in a loop. Beuatiful small lake and bathrooms. Great getaway surrounded by nature. I would return.

Quiet and enjoyable. Our kids enjoyed riding bikes around without traffic, walks with dogs were great, lots of space between sites. If you are looking to spend some time in a campground to relax this is a great place. Stock up on provisions in a large city before getting there. The supermarkets in the closest two towns, Bristol and Blountstown, are pretty disgusting. We spent 10 days there.

We had a great time at Camel Lake campgrounds. It was clean, well maintained and large campsites. The camp host was great. There is a dirt/gravel road wasnt bad. We will come back.

what an awesome campsite‼️ this was our first experience with our new camper… It was super cold but other than that, it was fabulous. The views are wonderful and the site itself is very well appointed. Easy to get access to everything and just so well accommodated. We look forward to coming back again.

Camel Lake CG. is a very nice place to stay. The sites are huge with trees and shrubbery for privacy. 4 sites have electric and water 6 sites have neither. There is flush toilets and hot showers. There's potable water. Trash bins all around. This place is very clean. The host, Glen, super nice guy. He takes care of that place so well. For the price, it's cheap for what you get (AMMENTIES, SPACE ETC.). Check it out.

We recently stayed at the Camel Lake campground for the first - but not the last - time. We brought our SUV, tent, screen tent, our 3 selves, and our dog; the (non-electric) campsite was more than big enough for all! The campground is well laid out, and with only 10 campsites is quietly located down a 2 mile gravel road. The bathhouse could use some upgrades but was otherwise functional. This campsite is a wee gem!
